![]() In a few years I had spent over 50,000$ just to keep them afloat to cover costs and expenses. I am very happy to write an extremely positive review for Marie as a small show of appreciation for the great job she has been doing for me.When I first met Marie I had 2 properties that had become a huge financial burden. Home 2 Home understands that both tenants and landlords can both be satisfied at the same time by resolving repair issues quickly and properly.Thank you Marie & the Home 2 Home team for helping rescue our business Little Castle Properties Inc. She cares deeply about each and every tenant, and works incredibly hard to resolve issues as soon as they arise. We wish we had met Marie a long time ago because she has transformed a larger terrible investment into a great cash-flow machine. We will work with Home 2 Home on all future investments in Windsor!FOR TENANTS:Home 2 Home is the first property management company that has helped us realize our vision of "creating a sense of home" for all tenants. She has also done an exceptional job lowering our costs by working with competent sub-contractors and her own wonderful team. She is very fast at filling vacancies, and always gets us higher rents then prior units were paying. Her services, which are extremely competitively priced, go far beyond what other property managers offer: not only does her team do an exceptional job managing the properties, but they also help improve the cashflow of the investment. She has been executing that plan brilliantly. Marie, had a plan of attack to turn around our investment from day one. The 10 unit building she manages for our company was a complete disaster prior to her rescuing us. The transition to new management was quick and seamless. We highly recommend Home 2 Home Properties to all landlords & tenants.FOR LANDLORDS:We started working with Marie & her team in 2017 after years of working with poor property managers. They will work with you and care for your investment properties like they're their own. Now my properties are finally making high returns with tenants that have had proper background checks.I highly recommend Home2Home to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable property management company in Windsor. After three years of the previous PM company running my business into the ground, within less than a year, Marie and her team was able to bring back my sanity as an out of province investor by turning things around for the better. I interviewed multiple PM companies and found Home2Home to be the only one to answer all my questions, both in a timely and professional manner. Here I am, 7 months later, working with Home2Home this has been the best decision I have made for my rental business. Being an out of town investor made it even tougher to find a good PM company in Windsor. All the lies and devious acts forced me to seek out another PM company. The previous PM company I had would brush me off, especially when I caught them charging me for things that were actually not done (aka "ghost billing"), not making necessary repairs to the properties and placing troublesome (to say the least) tenants at below market rents. ![]() To me, this show is the equivalent of the HGTV house renovations, that compress the hard work into an hour of viewing, trying to inspire you to do the work, while making you believe they are easier than in reality.Home2Home has changed my perception of property management companies. Going through India, for example, merits only a few minutes, and other countries such as Malaysia are only mentioned in the narrative. The presentation is too fast-paced to allow the gathering of much information for travel to any of these countries. Those are just the top of the iceberg when it comes to the many obstacles on a trek like this, and I cannot imagine Dennis' exhaustion after biking 40,000 miles. After awhile though, the joy of exploring the world is starting to wane, naturally, and the endless rain in South America becomes annoying, and a string (15) of flat tires is understandably frustrating. There is a quick mention of a flat tire, then quite a bit later, a short mention of being bored during 2,600km biking through the Australian outback. This documentary presents a lush, fast-paced perspective of exotic countries such as Myanmar, and Timor-Leste, and of smiling, friendly people, without delving into perils of which there are many during such a journey. As an avid independent traveler on a shoe-string, I found this documentary entertaining, although it's scrubbed of most unpleasantness, and glosses over obstacles.
